The Singing in the Rain Family Choir is a group of friends and families in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle who believe that singing together every week is, in addition to being a lot of fun, a great way to build community and strengthen family. This recording documents three years of “Sing Local” Concerts, from 2014 to 2016, where Seattle-area songwriters collaborated with the choir to share original local music with choral accompaniment. Many thanks go to all who participated - the songwriters, who happily shared their time and talents with us, the singers, who have created this outstanding community with me, and Robb Kunz, who made us sound good. There is a lot of love in this disc!
